What to expect

Step into a small, welcoming studio designed for slowing down.
Our Paint Your Own Pottery events are created for those who want to make something personal, share a meaningful moment, and enjoy a few quiet hours of creativity. With space for a maximum of 18 guests, every session feels relaxed, unhurried, and thoughtfully curated.
No experience is needed — just a desire to create.

The experience

1. Choose Your Piece
Select your ceramic from our carefully chosen collection of mugs, bowls, plates and decorative pieces. Each item is ready to become your own.We provide all materials — high-quality ceramic paints, brushes, tools, and gentle guidance if you need it.

2. Paint at Your Own Pace
Take your time. Talk, focus, experiment — or simply enjoy the quiet rhythm of painting. There is no right or wrong here. The process matters just as much as the finished piece. Our studio is intentionally small to create a calm atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and inspired.

3. We Glaze & Fire
When you’re finished, we professionally glaze and kiln-fire your pottery. This transforms your work into a glossy, durable, food-safe piece made to be used and enjoyed.

4. Collect Your Creation
Your finished ceramic will be ready for collection after the firing process (usually within a week). What you take home is more than pottery — it’s something you shaped with your own hands.

A Studio Designed for Connection

Because we host only small groups, each event feels personal and unrushed.
There’s space to focus. Space to talk. Space to simply be.
Minimal, cozy, and creative — just as it should be.

Drop-ins are welcome if there is availability, but booking a table is recommended. Only online bookings guarantee a seat.

How many seats do you have?

Our studio can accommodate up to 18 people.

Is seating private or are tables shared?

Tables are shared with other participants. If you book for a group of 6 people, you will normally have a table to yourselves.

Can you accommodate larger bookings?

We accept group bookings of up to 18 people. Larger groups may be split between our three tables.

How long do I have to paint my piece?

You have 2.5 hours from the event start time to finish your piece. If you need more time, please speak with our staff and we will do our best to help.

If you arrive late, the missed time cannot be added to the end of the workshop.

Are the finished pieces dishwasher and microwave safe?

Your finished piece is dishwasher safe but should not be used in the microwave. We recommend handwashing to reduce the risk of chipping or accidental damage.

May I join a painting event without painting?

Due to limited seating, only paying participants are allowed inside the studio space.

If you wish to accompany someone without painting, your seat cost is 100 kr. (paid as a deposit during booking).

May I bring food or drinks?

Tea and coffee are included in all bookings.

You are welcome to bring your own snacks or non-alcoholic drinks. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

Please note:

  • The studio cannot provide plates, cutlery, or wet wipes.
  • We have mugs available if you bring your own drinks.
  • Keeping hands clean and dry helps achieve the best glazing results.
How long does it take for my piece to be ready?

Please expect 7–10 days before your piece is ready for collection after you finish painting.

How will I be notified when my piece is ready?

You will receive an email notification when your piece is ready for pickup. Please ensure you enter the correct email address during booking.

If you book for multiple people, you will receive one email when all pieces in the booking are ready.

Can someone else pick up my piece?

Yes. Please provide the person collecting your piece with either a photo or a detailed description of the artwork.

How long will you store my piece?

Your piece will be stored for 8 weeks after you receive the collection notification.

If the piece is not collected within 8 weeks, it may be discarded due to limited storage space. Please contact us if you are unable to collect it within this period.

How does pricing work?

You pay a deposit of 100 kr. when booking.

The deposit is deducted from the final price of the ceramic piece you choose during the workshop.

For example, if you select a piece costing 249 kr., you will pay only 149 kr. during the workshop.

Pieces available for painting start at approximately 180 kr.

Is the paint non-toxic?
