By making a booking, purchasing a service, or using our facilities, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.



1. General Information

All bookings constitute a binding agreement between the customer and Keramiko.
Payments are processed securely through approved payment providers, including Vipps MobilePay where applicable.
All prices are stated in DKK and include VAT unless otherwise specified.



2. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once payment (full payment or deposit) has been received.

If a deposit is paid: The remaining balance must be paid during the event or workshop.
Deposits are deducted from the final price of the selected product or service.
Failure to attend without cancellation within the stated deadlines will result in loss of payment.



3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email before the applicable deadline.
If Keramiko cancels an event or class, participants are entitled to a full refund of the paid amount.



3.1 Paint Your Own Pottery Events

Cancellation up to 48 hours before the event: Full refund.
Cancellation 48–24 hours before the event: 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before the event: No refund.
Tickets may be transferred to another person if we are notified before the event begins.
If you arrive late, missed time will not be added at the end of the session.



3.2 Workshops (Non-Recurring Events)

Cancellation up to 72 hours before the workshop: Full refund.
Cancellation 72–24 hours before: 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before: No refund.
Tickets may be transferred to another person if notification is provided before the workshop begins.



3.3 Ceramics ClassesDrop-In Classes (Single Sessions)

Cancellation:
Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before class start.
No refund if cancelled less than 48 hours before.

Rescheduling:
One reschedule permitted if requested at least 48 hours before class.

Seat Transfer:
Permitted if confirmed in writing before class begins.



4-Week Course

Validity:
The 4-week course must be completed within 6 weeks from the first scheduled class.
Unused sessions expire after this period.

Refunds:
No refunds once the first class has been attended.
If cancelled before attending the first class, the standard 48-hour cancellation rule applies.

Rescheduling:
One reschedule permitted if requested at least 48 hours before class.

Transfer:
Course seats are non-transferable.



4. No Refund Policy After Participation

Once a workshop, class, or event has been attended (partially or fully), refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with personal artistic outcome or result.



5. Kiln Hire and Kiln Firing Services

Booking kiln services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Ceramic firing involves inherent risks, including cracking, glaze movement, deformation, or breakage. These outcomes are not considered service faults.

Customer Responsibilities:
Work must be fully dry.
Clay and glaze must be suitable for the selected firing temperature.
Work must not pose risk to kiln equipment.
Keramiko may refuse to fire items deemed unsafe.

Liability:
The studio is not liable for damage unless caused by documented negligence.The customer is liable for damage to kiln equipment caused by their work.

Charges:
Damaged kiln shelves: 500 kr. per shelf.
Damaged kiln posts: charged at replacement cost.
Structural kiln damage: actual repair cost plus reasonable handling fee.



6. Damage During Firing (Paint Your Own Pottery Only)

If a piece is damaged during firing due to studio handling or an undetectable pre-existing defect:

If unusable:
Full refund or replacement may be offered.
If cosmetic damage only:
Partial refund or discount voucher may be offered.
Natural ceramic behavior during firing is not automatically grounds for refund.



7. Right to Complain (Reklamationsret)

Customers are entitled to a two-year right to complain under Danish consumer protection law.
The right to complain applies only to items created during Paint Your Own Pottery workshops.

The warranty does not cover:
Accidental damage
Chipping or breakage after collection
Improper use or handling
Complaints must be submitted to info@keramiko.dk within a reasonable time after discovering the issue.
No warranty is provided for items created during ceramics classes.



8. Storage and Collection

Finished pieces must be collected within 8 weeks from notification.
Uncollected items after 8 weeks may be discarded due to limited storage space.



9. Shipping

Shipping is available within the EU for selected small items.
Shipping fees are communicated at the time of purchase.
Delivery times may be up to 8 weeks due to glazing, firing, and handling.
Keramiko is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Keramiko is not responsible for damages to items during shipping and refunds will not be issued.
Customs duties and import fees outside Denmark are the responsibility of the customer.

10. Limitation of Liability
Keramiko is not liable for:
Indirect lossesPersonal belongings brought into the studio
Allergic reactions unless caused by negligence.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights under Danish law.



11. Force Majeure

Keramiko is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or illness.



12. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR regulations.



13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Danish law.
Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Danish jurisdiction.
